tough to find. Most markets have given up due to the perishable nature of them and the expense

Depending on where you are located, I saw a sign in Port Vincent for live crabs. ~$15 dozen, I think they are Maurepas crabs...

my uncle and gf's dad who both sell seafood have told me that the oil spill has really messed up the crabs. they can't swim away from it so they have been really down this year. good luck with it. i've been getting mine and big fisherman on magazine. come in town and we can do a boil

The Shrimp Lady (i think her name is Sandy?) in the lot on Airline right past Tom Drive sometimes has them, but she's only open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

South Perkins fresh market on Perkins.
Got 3 dozen 4th July.
Jumbo carbs. They were the biggest crabs I have seen.
However they were 42 a dozen

Lots of nice crabs in Grand Isle also at Carmadelle's. You would never know there was an oil spill two years ago.

I've bought them at Tonys three times last two weeks. Live. Bought a dozen boiled today for my daughter.

Full and good.

MB I had a camp on Four Points Road for a long time until two years ago. Caught big crabs.

Damn

That's more than I'd spend for crabs that I can catch for free

Boiling Shack

The Boiling shack on 22nd Street in BR has boiled crabs ($17 for a dozen) and shrimp. Good sized, great taste

Call the Outlaw catfish company in Des Allemands and you will be able to pick them up at the Farmers market tomorrow.

I had a dozen at Hymel's last night and they were seriously overcooked. Ate them anyway but was disappointed. $30/dozen boiled.
