I am in metro NOLA. I get mine from Costco.
Is there another place that I should be looking?
Price is always right at Costco.

Depends on the occasion. Just me and the family, Costco. When the parents and inlaws are over, I go to a local high end butcher shop. It's a higher quality slab and he trims it a whole lot better than I can trim the Costco. Its twice as much, but I'm pretty sure my father in law may shoot me if I served him anything but a Michelin star quality cut of meat.

SRF or Creekstone Farms. Also check out The Butcher Shoppe on Facebook. They are out of Pensacola but have a great selection and good prices.

Do they usually have it in stock? I just got a membership in early July and they didn’t have any available when I went to pick one up (I’ve only been once).

Costco is really the only answer. Between $3 and $4 a pound for a prime packer can't be beat.

Sam's here usually carries Prime packers. And oddly enough they are usually cheaper per pound than the Choice.

Try Langenstein's. Won't be cheap, but they're pretty reliable.
