If The Chimes had an IPA on tap circa 1999 I'm sure I would've drank it as I was spending a small fortune going Around the World.

Maybe Sierra Nevada?

I've been drinking Saint Archer IPA this weekend. It's good.

Mechahopzilla, was so bad I threw away the rest of the 4 pack and could not finish the first can I opened. I would say that was about 4 or 5 years ago.

I haven't had a Mecha since that day either actually.

Endeavor was my first IPA but before that I would go to the beer exchange at bogie's to .25 Sierra Nevada's.

Everyone was trying to get cheap crown and cokes or whatever. It was a good system of you knew how to game it

It was a magnolia flower ipa, and not lucky magnolia. It waa served from a pitcher with magnolia petals floating in it.

Didn't like em then, don't really like em now.

More of an English hops ale or a dark lager kind of guy.

Pretty sure my first one was jockamo. Around 2008.

First one I actually enjoyed was Stone IPA. About 3 years ago. Then it was all down hill from there. Fiending for Treehouse, Tired Hands, and Trillium is a tough way to live.

Flying Dog Snake Dog. Had to be 2007 or so. I got it in some sampler pack and loved it.

When-early 2010 (I'm assuming, it may have been late 2009)

What-Sam Adams Latitude 48, I thought it was awful. I haven't had one (Latitude 48) since, but I couldn't finish it.

IPAs are now my favorite type of beer. I had 3 GOATs last night

My Untappd says 2012 Southern Star Pro Am, but I really think it was a Full Sail IPA LST gave me in a mixed 6pack of craft beer.

Mine says February 2013 I had a Lagunitas Sucks and gave it a 4.5/5

It was definitely before that. I hated IPAs, or at least thought I did, for years. I know the first one I liked was Southern Tier 2XIPA, and that was around 2011.

Jockamo around 2011 or so. Ruined it for a couple years then decided to try another. After finally realizing what real IPAs tasted like I got hooked on them.

Don't know when but it was definitely something from a flying dog variety pack.
