So bumping this thread because my sister in law will be bartending at this place. Apparently she is friends with Alex and has known him for awhile.

She knows they are starting with a Blonde and the honey ale. She’s supposed to be going to training soon so if I get more info I’ll let y’all know.

I’ll probably be there semi-regularly since she’s working there. I’ll buy y’all a beer.

A former Courtyard bartender should be there too. Sounds like he's excited about the place, so it can't be that bad.

A brewery in an old movie theater should name the beers in reference to old films.

FYI just saw on FB they will be open tomorrow, first three beers are:

a Hefeweizen "Hellaweizen, a Bavarian Hefeweizen brewed with Mandarina Bavaria"

a Belgian Dubbel "Miel, a Belgian Dubbel with raw New Iberia Honey"

a Golden Ale "Atomic #79, a Golden Ale Brewed with Cascade hops"

Prices look really reasonable imo.

Hefe prices are 4/10oz, 6/16oz, 12/Crowler, 24/ Growler
Dubbel: 5,7,14,28
Golden: 3, 5, 10, 20

I went yesterday. They did a good job with the layout. Indoor taproom with multiple garage doors give it an open feel. Projection screen tv showing the game. It opens up to a nice patio with a ping pong table, corn hole, and a few tables. Good vibe, but may need to throw some speakers for the outside area.

Beers- really enjoyed the Hefeweizen, hit the spot on a warm day. The Miel was well balanced and you could get just enough of the sweetness from the honey. Not my favorite but it's a solid beer. I liked their golden ale more than some other breweries. Not that I drink that style often.

Cool spot definitely worth checking out. Being that close to NOLA is going to be interesting for their future prospects. I wish them luck.

Tchoup corridor is going to be the go to location for any new breweries. Guarantees foot traffic.

Here now watching game.

EXCELLENT space. Honestly it’s my favorite space of any brewery so far. Really open and well thought out.

Beers

Blonde: it’s ok. It’s a blonde. Nothing special. Drinkable for sure but I’d probably not get it again.

Belgian: good. I like it. The honey is on the back end and not overpowering. Nice beer.

Hefewiezen: loved it. Really nice hefe. Has clove/banana backend that is awesome.

I’d come here again simply for the space.
