The location isn't the Wayward Owl issue, it's the beer. You're telling me if they were pumping out Urban South-level beers that they would still move locations? No chance.

Agree with this for sure.

I’ve enjoyed brewery hopping down Tchoup from time to time. Each one has a different atmosphere and unique beers. Why not add another to the list?

While we certainly appreciate the....support? We will be making a public announcement this week but boy rumors love to fly. We are moving the brewery to a new location. We are going go be gypsy brewing in state during the buildout. We have full support of the ATC. It's really very simple, for where we are/what we are paying, it is not worth it. Period. It's bad for business. Time to move. Just wanted to squash that one right off the bat.

Good luck, more breweries the better. Hope one day y'all make an IPA akin to NOLA's monthly special releases.

Yeah, they are killing it with the new IPA series. Birdbath in it's latest form has really been the direction we are headed. A brewery is not a ship that turns direction quickly unless you want to wreck it.

Yep, I get that. Even before that I told y'all that when I was in there, this was a direction that most likely is not going away anytime soon.

Y'all are on the other side of this, even a certain place next to a casino has been putting out some juice.

Anyway, I personally only wish y'all the best of luck and hope you stick around for a very long time.

the westbank could use a brewery and rent has to be way cheaper.

Your pouring skills put you at more of a beer authority than me.

Thanks for the shots, good seeing you.

Thanks for not downvoting me,wayward owl guy. I wish I liked your beers, but I’ve never had one that I’ve cared for. Did y’all clean up that clean slate recipe? Haven’t tried it in about a year but it was a drain pour for my palate.

I do appreciate the feedback. Unless I mistakenly clicked I didn’t down vote anyone. We do listen and Adjust beers based On feedback. If you have not tried our beers in a year that’s fair, hopefully we nail one that you dig one day.

Good luck with this, seriously.

I live about 2 miles away from the current location and was pumped when someone with a background like yours was going to open a short distance away.

I was there on night 1 to grab a cold snack, but the two times I've been back there just hasn't been anything I've tried that makes me want another.

Hope the BirdBath gets going.

Our tours love the beers at Wayward. Hopsurdity 2.0 and you’re driving me hazy are both damn good IPAs IMO.

Obviously, Bird bath is on point and I’d be interested in blind tasting it against voodoo, Envie, etc

I have said the media gets ideas for stories coming to TD's.

Below sounds like a copy and paste in with some of their detail:

Eh, not Nora. She's pretty in tune with the local beer world.

Sounds more like standard press release shite. Makes sense that NBB and Nora would get the same cookie cutter spiel from the source.
