Finding some good Sonoran hot dogs

Will do. People here tend to think I’m a food snob so why not add fuel to the fire

Can you review the grilled cheese there for us? I’m sure they have a dish that qualifies as one

I’ll check it out. Though I believe they call it a “grilled queso” there.

I’ve had the chili crab in Singapore and it is legit bucket list material! Enjoy

A dear friend of mine visited kartchners this very afternoon.

What's this about?
Have heard really good things about their andouille, smoked sausage, etc.
Little out of the way from I-10 but hope to make it by there soon.

Had to cancel reservations at both Pujol and Quintonil since my sister had to postpone her wedding in Mexico City until next March. Sucks, but in all the terrible things that have come from COVID-19, it's nothing.

Chef Gulotta at Maypop went on a trip to Singapore last year and came back with an incredible chili crab recipe. He had it as a special at Maypop briefly, and it was stellar. Keep your eyes open because he'll likely have it again.

Had the chili crab in Singapore last year as well as oyster loaf and Hainanese chicken Rice at the food courts.
This year the bucket list item was Le Bernardin in NYC but this may not happen. Trip scheduled for June but will either not happen or get pushed back.
