What’s on the menu for Good Friday and Easter.

Gonna do crawfish Good Friday just me, wife and father in law. Easter just us. Steaks, green bean casserole and smoked Mac and cheese.

hopefully some crawfish, but where i live that may be an issue with all that's going on. if not, i'll do a fish/shrimp courbullion.
Sunday is a cured ham i'll smoke over post oak to kick it up and glaze it with Steen's, my mamere's potato salad, some deviled eggs, turnip greens, green beans and my wife's homemade rolls. i think she'll be doing peaches Foster over some vanilla Blue Bell for dessert as well.
gotta carry on the fam traditions now more than ever.

Planning on smoking ribs but the weather looks questionable now. Bloody Marys, Mimosas, and Easter Bunny candy are all thats on the menu currently.

Found some pretty asparagus, so I will likely do an asparagus risotto on Easter Sunday. Dunno what else. Will just be two at the table so don’t need much.
I’ve got shrimp and sac au lait filets in the freezer, so maybe fried shrimp or fish for Good Friday.

I will be celebrating a Seder with wine (I substitute with unsweetened grape juice), parsley dipped in saltwater, matzah, romaine lettuce, charoset (similar to apple sauce), an egg, and roasted lamb.
