Heading to Saba, Elysian, and Bywater Bistro Saturday. Saba and Bywater are outstanding, Elysian looks legit for cocktails - will report back, baws.

Love Saba, it's 2 block from my house. I'm headed to GW Fins Saturday for my first time....I'm really excited.

That Justine space may be the nicest in the city. Menu is kinda dime a dozen for Nola though and the execution was underwhelming when I went a few weeks ago. May have to use the Tom Fitz rule of thumb and give it another month or two

yea given the hype i was let down. The bone marrow app was straight up bad. Burger was fine but would choose differently next time. Lobster app and banana dessert were great. Service was all sorts of mixed up.

We actually had great service. Was one of the highlights for me

They were out of a few dishes we wanted to try including oysters (wtf). Apps weren’t bad - French onion soup and steak tartar. Entrees kinda fell short though - duck fat fried chicken, duck confit, trout amandine (was black drum, which is showing up on a lot of menus in Nola, I just find it bland), French dip — I mean they were all edible but I had no urge to eat more of any of them after a bite or two

Oh they will kill it, no doubt. Place should stay packed and they have a ton of seats in there. Great bar too

We had mediocre service at best, but it was expected given they recently opened. I thought the food was just okay, especially the entrees (paneed chicken was bland).

The cocktails were very good and the atmosphere is outstanding. Whoever did the design and build out did an amazing job. I will probably give it a try again in a couple months, but for now I would head to Couvant if I wanted french.

Farouki Farouki were the architects, they did Saffron and Maypop as well. Those are great spaces as well

We went on a Sunday night and it was packed. They had a “DJ” playing. Devilier was in the house, so I’m confident they’ll get better.

And I’d agree about Couvant. Great menu over there and another neat design of a restaurant

Skip Gabrielle, don’t understand that guy’s goodwill here.

Luvi is incredible. Go to Wrong Iron.

They have a "Feed Me" option where it is 3 cold and 2 hot dishes. It's definitely worth it. Dishes come out looking absolutely beautiful then taste as good as it looks.

On it’s best day it’s average. Don’t see it lasting.

I’ll throw Shank into the mix. On St Claude. Guy was the butcher for clever & co. Steak curry is unreal.
