I knew Osteria Lupo was in the coolest of the cool club because you reserve on RESY. Open Table is for, well, the rest of us.

Who determines a restaurants worth by which reservation platform they use

It's also from the same review of hers that Gris posted about.

She is impossible to listen to...her recent review of Osteria Lupo is probably the worst written restaurant review I have read.

Her (positive) review of that stupid Azul place in Metairie was pretty bad for different reasons. Tom was pretty bad about this too. They act offended when they’re asked for their approval at a place they either aren’t familiar with or deem below them, but love obsequious flattery and pass out gold stars to all their buddies, like the Azul guy.

They heavily promoted Casa Garcia for years and rightly so, it’s still a very good restaurant.

Ok this is one example?

Anything to say about all the other posts here?

Lol. Now you’re just trolling. Casa Garcia is CuCo’s reincarnated, maybe even a little greasier. If you like Tex-Mex, and occasionally I do, then this is a mid-grade restaurant at best for Tex-Mex. If memory serves me correctly they also promoted Carreta’s regularly, another mediocre “Mexican” restaurant.

LINK

Here are some links from the past about Casa Garcia. I’m not saying it’s the best place you’ll ever visit but a lot of people had positive experiences.

Their bean dip alone is worth a visit.

I'm not a big bean dipper lover, but the best I've ever had was at a little restaurant in New Orleans off Carrollton around the Riverbend. That dip was addicting. I can't recall the name of the place. It was small and more like a hole in the wall. It's on the tip of my tongue. I'd love that recipe.

Promoted the shite out of Andreas forever too.
Finally near the end of Toms career I think he realized it wasn’t that good.
