I want to say the hamburger, but really feeling that a roasted turkey may sum up America in one dish.

Opinions?

Close. Bacon Cheese Burger. The USA make it obscene.

I don't see much business in all of America's turkey restaurants, but I do see cars wrapped around Burger King, Whataburger, Mac and Don's Supper Club, etc. on a daily basis.

Hamburger and fries with ketchup cannot be denied.

Burrito. Take someone elses idea/creation, add the slightest of changes to it, claim it as your own.

In that case, it may as well be sweet and sour chicken.

Has to be either a hamburger or the hot dog. Fried chicken is in there too.

Many good ones named.

I've been to 32 of our 50 great states and I would have to say hamburger is probably #1.
