The super dilly! Man- what great times in the 90s. Go to the mall to go to journeys to get some school shoes, and Piccadilly on the way out!

Chopped beef or fried fish
Mac/cheese
Fried okra
Crab salad
Roll
Switched up dessert!

The Piccadilly in Juban is good, but man…. It’s like $16-17 with a drink.
As an adult with children , we would do it as an “in between”- not fast food, but not a normal sit down restaurant, with prices that matched.

It’s just as expensive or more than say, Texas Roadhouse or walk ons… I use these bc they are in juban as well.

Crawfish Etouffee was my go to if they had it. If not, it was usually hamburger steak or roast beef if it was pink enough.

Sides:
Mashed Potatoes or Mac and Cheese
Carrot Soufflé (GOAT side IMO)
Soft Roll

Rarely ever got dessert.

As a kid: roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, cornbread stick, sweet tea. Maybe chocolate pie or custard.

As an adult: crawfish etouffee, cornbread stick; or hamburger steak, broccoli rice, greens or cabbage, cornbread stick.

As kids, it didn't matter what we ate as long as we could get a thing of that cubed Jello.
