I don’t ever see it anymore, is it allocated now?

That would be absurd.

I never see it in the wild.

No you don’t. One of the hardest bourbons to find, especially in BR. They had a few cases at Costco before Thanksgiving and it was gone in a few minutes. For the ones who think it’s everywhere let us know where. Calandros had two bottles the other day.

Every time I go to Albertsons at Jones Creek they have at least 2 bottles. They don't have any other BT products.

I see it all the time, randomly. Never buy it.

they did change distributors earlier in the year but it should not have changed much

2 things at play here.

Buffalo Trace are masters at creating demand with artificial shortages.

Which in turn makes a bunch of neckbeard losers go out and “clear da shelves” to show off their bourbon collection to other neckbeard losers.

The distributors use it and the other brands they produce, Pappy, Eagle rare etc..as leverage to get the accounts to buy more of their lesser known products. Some places get as much as they want and other places get zero. I’ve been on both sides of fence. It’s BS , but it is what it is . Their business to run as they see fit.

Main Market in Folsom has it. I've noticed a lot of places keep in the back, just ask one of the clerks in the Liquor
Dept.

I was in Oregon over Thanksgiving and they had a whole shelf full.
I was going to grab a bottle for my host and he said it’s always there.
