I remember potato chips. Loved them but haven't had any in ages. Way, way, way back then I loved Cape Cod kettle, or ruffles with green onion sour cream dip.

Potato chips are my kryptonite, I love them, but too many carbs. If I treat myself to a small bag with a sandwich, it's going to be Crawtators, addictive.

Zapps Crawtators

But if we’re talking National Brands, I’m a fan of Lays Sour Cream & Onion.

Any kettle style with salt and cracked pepper. Circle K has a good one. Seriously.

If I could go out to a store and buy it right now, it would either be Gibbles chips or Grandma Utz's chips. They are so good.

It beats anything the kettle cooked chips have. They're fried in lard and I get it, it's not good for you but they are so good.

When I was a kid, Ruffles had a flavor called Bacon and sour cream. It was so good. It's been replaced with the cheddar and sour cream and it's too much cheese flavor. That bacon one was amazing.

My own...

Irish Potato, cut in thin slices (Really thin with the other end comes out slightly thicker sometimes
Fry in oil, then put on paper towel to drain oil
Add Cajun seasoning (I make my own) and extra black pepper (16-20 mesh mix) and salt

Note: for your steaks use 10-14 mesh combination for black pepper, and use sea salt flakes/crystals for finishing. If you do not have a store bought rub to use, then mix Kosher Salt and 10-14 mesh black pepper either 50/50 or 60/40 pepper to salt to rub on your brisket/steak.

For a BLT, Wavy Lays

Other sandwiches, I'm either Sweet Heat or Salt and Vinegar

Stand alone chip for snacking, I'm on a Haunted Ghost Pepper kick lately. And I usually don't have to share.

If it’s actual lard, they’re better for you than most of the chips on the market, which are fried in vegetable oils. That’s what’s not good for you.

Never heard of these so I googled it. FYI they still sell them in Canada. You can order some but they’re $20 / bag.

Golden Flake Sweet Heat and Ruffles Plain are my first choice chips.

Zapps Voodoo for potato, but 9/10 times I'll pick corn, and I'll say the Paqui nacho cheese are at the top of my list right now. Simple blue corn chips always work too, multiple brands are good. Ok I'm having some of those now.
