Slice or two of lean brisket
2 ribs (sauce on the side)
One cold side (potato salad)
One hot side (Mac and cheese)
Some sort of pickled thing
Bread

two meet combo with brisket and turkey, baked beans, coleslaw unless some other veggy option moves me.

Sides - depends on the joint, for example:
Roegels - collards
Corkscrew - baked beans
Interstellar - Cole slaw

At my favorite local spot it's fatty brisket and their beans. Their fries are also really good though.

I don't understand why people would choose brisket flat over the point.

My order:

Point
Smoked bird
House sausage
Mac n cheese

Maybe beef ribs if I'm feeling fancy. Occasionally get spare ribs if that's what they're known for

I rarely will get pulled pork. It's one that varies the least from home cooks and other BBQ spots.
