Anything fresh from the Tastee Donuts on Loyoal in Kenner bear the interstate. That location does it different than the other Tastee’s. It’s not even close
Bakers Dozen in Nola area is the best donut here. Most comparable to the aforementioned GOAT and GOAT runner up Port Allen Bakery and Mary Lee

ETA: Southernmaid for you northern baws is also in the running

These are SOOOO delicious!

All of these donut gatekeepers in here!

“KK is trash, KK is gross...” That’s fricking hilarious. Either you’ve never had a hot, fresh Krispy Kreme or you’re full of shite.

I think it means something that all the KK are usually pretty focused on how great KK is, but all of the other people are obsessive about hating on KK. Hmm...

KK isnt trash. It should just be a completely different category off food and shouldnt be called a donut. Its more in the kids snack line of food than an actual donut

Hardly a funnel cake. The dough has so much more flavor than a typical donut.

not a fan of cake donuts at all

My favorite are the classic glazed from crispy creme

I used to get this really great powdered donut filled with bavarian creme in New Orleans, but I can't remember where from.

fake little cute donuts

This is dumb. It's dough and icing. How is that fake?

I rarely eat donuts, so I prefer the classic that makes me want to eat a whole dozen when I take that first bite. And I rarely seek out the cake kind. Doesn't do it for me.

I ain't trying to be a donut connoisseur, baw. A hot Krispy Kreme glaze melts in my mouth and makes it move. And if you don't like those things, you can git.

What funny about donuts is you can have 2 people in an office or 30 people in an office, and a dozen donuts will be enough for the whole place according to who is buying them

Yeast doughnuts, not cake. Glazed. Simple.

Ruddock's Bakery in Crowley, LA can provide you with the perfect example of the perfect doughnut.

Glazed most of the time, but I am partial to the red jelly ones with the powdered sugar on top.

I just had a donut and a chicken sandwich from lunch from a city wide chain that just opened up nearby.

Got a super fresh chocolate old fashioned.

It was good

But the fired chicken sandwich was better
