Drumette?

Flat?

or tip?

I used to be a drumette guy, because I thought there was more meat, but I have changed my mind and now like the flats better. I think it tastes better and has connective tissues.

What say you?

Is the tip really in consideration? Just the tip?

They gross me out. I refuse to go to Hooters because of those tips with the feather fuzz still attached.

I believe someone posted just recently on this website that this was their favorite part. I think they liked the crunch skin when they are deep fried...

The meat on the drumette can be a little more dry than the flat but the drumette is less work. I don't mind the flat but I'll go with the drumette.

Depends on your technique. If you grip the flat at one end, you can pull all of the meat of it in one bite. The drumette requires going bit by bit around the bone.

Flats are easy. Just pull out the small bone and eat around the larger one.

Sometimes I just break the flat and slide the meat off each bone with one bite.

That flavorful and gelatinous stock that a wing imparts.
