Love to cook brunch or breakfast on the weekends and listen to Rolands Rockin Cajun show. Reminds me of some good old people who've passed on.

While this is funny, the truth is I put metal on for just about anything I do... cooking, cleaning, driving, etc..

I don't even know him, but I'm dying laughing at imaging our cooking nights with Slayer playing

I've been hooked on the Johnny Cash station lately.

Cooking inside during the winter its strictly Miss Irma.

Any other time gets; Galactic, the Meters, Zachary Richard, BDG, Dr. John, Leona Buckles, Rosie Ledet and I have my favorite LSU games in my loop that I also play.

I think they are all Johnny Cash stations. If you listen to any Pandora station for a couple hours, Folsom Prison Blues will play. Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress will be around soon too.

Frank Sinatra or Duke Ellington.

My friends always tease me for it. It's calming to cook and listen to it, though. I feel like I'm a 50s housewife.

Duke Ellington station, an Otis Redding station, or a Sinatra station.

Those are all good suggestions. I don't have a specific one, but those sound cool to me.

Give me a little Boston, Journey, Aerosmith, Kansas, or Foreigner while I am flipping burgers and sipping an ice cold IPA, and I am golden!

I don't know that I've ever listed to music while cooking. Usually have something on the TV.

I guess you could pair the music to what you're cooking?

Mine is a station mix I made on Pandora. It is a mixture of Fun radio, Better Than Ezra radio and Tracy Lawrence radio.
