It was better when you couldn't get it here.

I am natty man myself, when reaching for a cheap beer

Not a fan. It's better than Bud/Miller/Coors and such, but still shitty compared to craft beers.

It's good, and you can have more than 2 of them without feeling like you just ate a meal.
Their black & tans are good also.

Quite possibly the best synopsis of this board ever posted
/the more it smells and taste like a menstruating skunks arse the better beer is. /

Average at best beer that people from the Northeast act like its the holy grail of beer due to nostalgia
And previous to Yuengling, it was Rolling Rock. Then they sold out and no one cares for it anymore.

It's no PBR or Natty light, but will do

What is the consensus on Yuengling?
Very average beer. People seem to think its cool to drink it though. Better than most of the mass produced stuff.

Spot on man. This board humors me with this "craft" beer shite. Everyone of the beers they mention here that I've tried tastes like I'm drinking skunk piss.

I honestly think High life is in a price catagory below yeungling... that was my go to in college and even still today if it's cheap enough..... bar here had $1 high life ponies last Friday!

Craft beer is an acquired taste. It takes time to get into it. Once you do, you never go back to the cheap swill.

Ah yes, the ole sophisticated exclusivity. If only the hoi polloi could elevate their tastes to your level.

Not true. I love craft beer, but I can still drink a Bud Light or Yuengling any day.

I can't. It just tastes like water with a little beer in it to me. In all fairness, I've never really liked those beers. I would drink liquor or wine instead before I got into craft beer.
