This one crossed my mind. I used to drink them all the time.

Roasted in shell peanuts.

My grandfather always kept some in his pockets, and would feed them to all his grandkids as long as they wanted them. I swear, I think he started out the morning with 1lb of peanuts every day!

The taste of Pacifico beer puts me back on the beaches of Puerto Vallarta every time. That was my beer of choice while I was there.

Goldschlager brings back memories of underage barfing. Grilled cheese sandwiches brings me back to my elementary cafeteria.

Chocolate milk reminds me of Dad waking me up at ungodly hours (to me at the time) to go fishing. Used to always stop and get bait, gas up the boat, etc and I'd always get some chocolate milk and a fried pie. Great memories....

Haven't thought about Miller Ponies in years.

They were tasty.

I'll just add fried dill pickles to that memory and smile

Pop Rouge or what is Barqs Red Soda, but it was called PopRouge at my grandfathers house. That was back when it was still made with Red due #2 before it was banned.

Hot tamales, we used to pick them up every Sunday from Manuel's for dinner.

Old Fashioned, I used to make them for my grandfather when I was 10

Snowballs, especially Plum Street since my mother would drive us in from Metry at least once a week to get a snowball

Jim beam.

First trip to BR to stay with my brother. Vomited all over a bare mattress and woke up naked in it.

I like that Hobotiger. Never heard it called that before.

In the chocolate milk vein. Chocolate Soldiers!

Love me some chocolate soldier

Southern Comfort always makes me think of a night of drinking at the Chimes when some reggae band played, between the SC and the jäger shots the bartenders kept handing us I throw up on the way home and I was driving

Coffee milk served in one of these:

When Daddy wanted to get us up for 6:00 am Mass during Lent, he'd bring us coffee milk in bed to help wake us up.

My grandmother would put a little coffee in our Rice Krispies. Coffee milk Rice Krispies is awesome.

i loved those glasses :) and i agree about coffee milk, but my great grandma always gave me mine in a cup with one of her "tea cakes"...i wish i had gotten than recipe before she passed away...most of my comfort food memories are of things she and my grandmother made.
