It could be anything. From eggs to chili..or steak to spaghetti. Hell it could even be grilled cheese sandwiches ??. What food do you think you are pretty special at making? What dish can you dish out just as good as others?

Food - french toast, chili & shepherd's pie. I also make something I call a "meat pasta" that's just a blend of meat, pasta and cheese. Pretty awesome.

Drink - margarita (on the rocks) & mojito

Red beans - cure and smoke my own sausage and tasso, it's a level up from the norm.

Gumbo…..both kinds…..seafood and chicken and sausage. It’s all about the stock.

Seafood gumbo

Margarita on the rocks

My family thinks I make better crawfish etouffee than any restaurant they have ever been to. I think they’re wrong. Then again, I’ve been to more restaurants than all of them put together and mine is honestly very good, just not the best. I know there’s room for improvement. My seafood gumbo on the other hand…

I won't claim GOAT status at all but I make a mean lasagna both alla Bolognese and alla Napoletana. The problem is I learned them to cook them in Italian restaurants and can't seem to properly scale the recipe down so I make 4 steam table trays at a time. They get cut into 4 servings and vacuum sealed and frozen, we heat/melt them and eat them for a dinner then take them for lunch the next day.

My favorite simple comfort food that I think I do well is chicken in alfredo sauce but over rice instead of pasta. I take chicken breasts, roll them in seasoned bread crumbs, brown them in the pan then finish cooking them in a large amount of alfredo sauce. Then make a large bed of rice, put the chicken breast on, and ladle on the sauce, I think it works better thinner than you normally make it for pasta, serve it with asparagus or haricots verts and I love it.

Truly I make the best guacamole on the planet. No doubt. No Latina ever born can compare. Not kidding.
