I enjoy Catheads Honeysuckle vodka.
2 Parts Vodka, .75 parts Simple syrup. Juice of a lemon.
Shaken with ice. Pretty good afternoon cocktail

Similarly I use grapefruit sparkling water. LaCroix is good, but believe it or not I prefer that Albertsons Soleil brand.
If you want to make it extra fancy, rim the drink and put grapefruit peel twist in as garnish

I'm more of a bourbon drinker. I keep a bottle or two of Tito's around for when the wife wants something besides wine or beer. She'll put a shot in a tumbler of ice and just top it with water. Pretty good, but we also buy seltzers. Either La Croix, or lately we've been buying the brand Polar. Raspberry Lime carbonated water, and that is great with some vodka. Usually when I drink vodka (which is only when I'm out of bourbon) I'll do Bloody Mary's or screwdrivers. Occasionally pineapple juice if we're making a punch.

My MIL mixes vodka with Trulys.
I prefer just a vodka tonic/lime.
Mio and vodka can be pretty good at times.
