You like it or you don't? For me it's a personal favorite. Cold leftover trout or Popeyes spicy dark makes me very happy.

When I order a Greek salad and they ask me what kind of dressing I want on it.

When I order a Caesar salad and they ask me what kind dressing I want on it.

When someone says Olive Garden or Red Lobster is their favorite fancy restaurant

When someone orders a steak or burger well done

Creole aka "red" jambalaya

The thought of eating at a place like Applebee's...

Just can't do it.

Watching some dumb college kid poor a Guinness incorrectly. Erin Rose, Finn's, Boondock Saint, and Irish House are the only places in nola I will enjoy a pint. In BR, Chimes East (thank you Heather and Megan!)

Guests asking me where should they go for dinner between Court of Two Sisters or Antoine's... Ugh. I then give them the "the quarter has classic nola options but the warehouse district and uptown is where you'll truly find some amazing local cuisine" speech

Ordering fireball shots. Nothing wrong with fireball but when at a classy bar, there are better options.

Ordering a martini then sending it back bc it's too strong... Wtf

Burger with no bun

When people claim one oyster bar has better oysters than another when they both get their product from the same distributor. "Casamento's best raw in nola." Really? Or is it the old school ambiance? Blind taste test you would not know

Maybe I worded thay wrong because I do enjoy fried fish straight out the fridge the next day. But room temp french fries, onion rings..... I can do without.

Heres another..... when people use cajun boiled peanuts. WTF IS THAT???....... ive been in South Louisiana all my life and I dont know one saltwater coonass who has ever lit his propane burner to boil peanuts. Its SPICY BOILED PEANUTS...... not cajun...... real Cajuns dont frick with peanuts.

The term BBQ seems overused a lot

That's definitely a mild irritation. You arent barbecuing, you are grilling.

I don't mind them speeding it up a little but if you don't let it set the head on it can be almost 1/4 of the beer.

Yep. People do it here all the time. "I'm going to a BBQ today"
And then it's just people with weeners and burgers and chicken on the grill
