(This is a spin off of the potato chip sandwich thread)

When my daughter was 3 or 4, I saw her dipping plain potato chips in Apple sauce. First I was a little disgusted, but then thought about it and tried it. It's pretty damn good.

My wife has actually served it as a snack at a party for the kids, and the adults started digging into it.

What do you have?

deviled eggs as a meal
the cajun melt: pepperjack cheese, hogs head cheese, cajun turkey, honey mustard, and sweet relish toasted and sealed in bread with a sandwich press. Gooey, savory goodness.
grapes on a pizza
snacking on just straight black olives out of the can

CSB: my SO caught me doing that one time and I thought she was going to give me a weird look, but it turned out she does that all the time and had since she was a kid.

My favorite is homemade quick nachos.

Take a pile of tortilla chips. Grate some cracker barrel sharp chedder cheese.

Sprinkle cheese on chips.
Sprinkle bacon bits
Sprinkle some Louisiana Hot Peppers in Vinegar.
Repeat for 3 layers.

So good.

Holy shite.

As a kid, I liked cheese and ketchup sandwiches. Bunny bread, a slice of Kraft, and ketchup.

Now, my go-to unhealthy snack is Doritos and French Onion dip. The Doritos turn it all streaky.

Sam's has a wheel Mexican pepper cheese that makes great nachos. Can't think of the name right now.

I like Shrimp cocktail without the shrimp sometimes. I shred lettuce, eat with cocktail sauce and saltines. Strange, huh? Even better with shrimp but have always liked the cold lettuce, cocktail, and cracker combo.

What?

This sounds awful!

My favorite meal growing up was Spaghetti-o's!!!
I'm fairly certain I would be over 6' tall if not for the countless cans I devoured.

I don't really eat any strange snacks nowadays.

As a kid I would make cheez it sandwiches, basically bread, whatever condiments I was feeling and then hot and spicy cheez its.

I do the impromptu nachos that someone else described a lot.

I typically have a lot of leftover tortillas bc of how many come in each package so I will end up making all kinds of wraps and quesadillas.

Make hot dog, cut up hot dog, put in tortilla = hot dog wrap

I also eat pepperoncinis out of the glass on the reg.

Oh, I still eat this all the time. I always have Spaghetti O's in the house.

I also do a lot of ramen. Never ate it "to survive in college" like people talk about, but I like it now as a snack. Always drop an egg in it. Not too long.. I like the yolk runny.

Not really strange, but I like Lay's wavy chips with the onion and chive cream cheese. Haven't done it in a long time. Now, I'm craving it.
