Not cooking this year. Local brewery is having a beer/cider pairing dinner. We're friends with the brewmaster so signed up for that to support the business, plus the chef making the food tonight is damn good.

NY Strip, berry and spinach salad with pepper jelly vinaigrette, mashed potatoes, asparagus, and creme brulee for dessert.

Actually I am invited to a party that was supposed to be a boil but they backed out on that idea so am supposed to bring apps and shite. IDK. Hang out with some classy Kingwood ladies.

Bison sloppy joes, on homemade burger buns. Side of blue cheese slaw. Creme brûlée for dessert. Not my selections, but will definitely make better half happy.

I would destroy this. I love sloppy joes, and love anything blue cheese. Creme brûlée is my favorite dessert as well.

I'm going to make a huge charcuterie board with 6 or so different cheeses with all of the fixins.

I have a nice super tuscany & chianti classico to pair with it.

My all time favorite thing, esp if the fixings include fruit, honey, mostarda or something sharp, and nuts.
