Great bar wouldn't call it a dive.

Is it a late night thing or do they serve it during the day ?

I've only had it for dinner, and its my understanding that they don't start serving till 4pm.

I appreciate it. One night we were at a Hornets came. Son of a bitch didn't realize he had a buck knife in his pocket. Still amazed he got it in. He could probably tell you a few crazy stories from when my bro and I used to drink with him.

I didn't return after Hyde Park closed. Brgetthenet used to work there (Hyde Park). Got his arse kicked every night.

It's one of the best looking bars anywhere.

I like the Kerry Irish Pub when I'm in the Quarter, it's pretty laid back and nasty, good combo in my book. And I like Guinness.

They didn't let me in with a fricking gerber vise mini, basically a small keychain tool.

If I wasn't with the crowd I was with I would have gotten way more pissed off.

I mean I can bring this shite on a plane but not into the arena.

Yeah, there was definitely Cafe Banquet 1.0 and 2.0. My heyday was 1.0. I used to babysit glassman. Him and his ritzy friends.

Jones, I was probably 20 when I tried to get in there with a fake id that said I was 25 and I looked all of 18 years old. They were not strict at all.

I promise you, even he wouldn't. Poor Jessie was rather unfortunate looking. Great cook though.

That's when I went also. We would always start at t.j.s then make our way from there.

My bachelor party in late 80's started in the Swamp Room, then Obermyers(sp), then the quarter. Do either of those count and are they still open?

RIP The Dixie Tavern.

Current vote is for Homedale and Mayfair.
