It’s kinda weird all of these people are out of work but people are spending money dining out. I’m not hating I just find it...odd

Doe’s, Zippys, the Merchant, Red Zepplin, ...

Haven’t been yet and prob won’t bc they take forever on a normal day but Poboy Express on Perkins has been booming. Never less than 5 or 6 cars in the line, yesterday it was wrapped around the building. That’s easily an 45 minute wait

We’ve ‘eaten out’ so much more than normal the last 3-4 weeks. Gotta help out the locals. Places we’ve hit up recently:

Overpass Merchant
Superior
Maxwell’s Market
Eliza
City Pork
Bin 77
Ava’s
Montalbano's
Cannatella’s
Rocca
Jed’s Poboys
Rotolo’s
Little Village
Beausoleil

Uncle brought me Impastato’s a couple of weeks ago. It was absolutely delicious. I believe they are still offering takeout and I strongly recommend it. Those soft shells were the best thing I’ve had all month. In fact, it might be the best single dish served in America this month!

When you call, tell them TulaneLSU from Tigerdroppings sent you. 504-455-1545, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 11-8.

I have this same thought. I love eating out as much as anyone but I’ve cooked at home more than ever during this time. Fortunately I’m still getting paid, but who knows for how long.

It also become kind of irritating with local restaurants begging for you to buy gift cards. As if ordering take out wasn’t enough.

The best thing to happen to Americans would have been for them to learn how to cook, rather than wrapping cars around some crap drive through window. I'm seeing more take out promotion than ever, and it's downright disappointing.

The Overpass Merchant's softshell crab sandwich special is excellent. We've also gotten food from Jed's, Rocca, Curbside and Superior. Basically all of Government Street so I guess Elsie's is next.
