We had an early dinner after visiting an alpaca farm in the Georgia mountains.

I needed to put some of the South back in this poor little transplant's soul, so we went out to eat.

We started with complimentary buttermilk biscuits with apple butter. I had fried green tomatoes, fried catfish, fried okra and hashbrown casserole. Oh, and sweet tea.

Now I'm drinking vodka waters in front of the fire, watching the election returns.

It is really good! Good first night, and like almost all soups, even better the second.

Marion's Kitchen - Spicy Pork Noodle Soup

The recipe title calls it spicy, but if you follow the recipe, I don't find it spicy at all. I added some red pepper flakes. Your mileage may vary.
