I cooked a chuck roast in the cast iron pot for RB P.O. boys. I put it in at noon at 275 after searing it. It was delicious and have some left for tomorrow. Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone.
Shrimp Chowder and crusty bread for us tonight.
Sautéed onions, celery, fresh corn cut from cob and a little red bell pepper, in butter with a little Lawry's garlic salt, black pepper and Slap Yo Mamma, cooked potatoes and corn cob in chicken broth to just before done, made béchamel and diluted with broth used to cook the potatoes, added potatoes, adjusted the thickness with broth turned off heat and added precooked shrimp. Allowed shrimp to heat and served with buttered crusty bread to sop up the thick good stuff.
