My dude used a bunch of random leftover pantry things to make some sort of chocolate-cinnamon-marshmallow pancake with Vermont maple syrup and I'll be damned if it wasn't the best pancake I've ever had.

Boiled crawfish and fixins. Tried edamame and okra in the boil for the first time.

Salmon and broccoli.....pretty much my favorite meal.
The generous pads of butter certainly add to the appeal.

ETA: we ordered out Thai tonight. I got Red curry shrimp, medium spice, which was leaning toward HOT.

It is a house favorite as well. Salt pepper onion garlic smoked paprika cooked in butter. When all the pieces are sitting on the plate done I take the pan and drizzle the butter remnants over top. If I am putting the salmon into a Caesar salad I will drizzle that butter into the salad a little bit…real healthy like.
