My Condolences Nate....

As far as the Green Beans, that's one my favorite thing on the Chinese Buffet along with the button mushrooms.

Sorry to hear that Nate. A testament to their good fortune while on earth is your toasts and willingness to discuss them on here, as well as the sincere responses.

Godspeed.

My aunt always put a spot of ketchup on her white beans. My dad loved a bit of Creole mustard atop his red beans. Tried it when I got older and thought it was tasty.

ETA: Very sorry for the double hit to your family, Cajunate.

While cooking I had a cold beer and toasted my brother-in-law and had a shot of tequila for my sister-in-law who we had funerals for this past Saturday. They died 16 days apart. One from organ failure and the other from complications after surgery.

Wow, I am very sorry to hear that.

Thank you all of you for your condolences!
It has been a sad month indeed. I failed to mention that a friend of about 46 years passed away less than a week after my sister-in-law.. It's always difficult when someone you know and cared about dies and this is the third time in six years we have lost two family members within a month of one passing.

Thank you again for your kindness!
