Baked chicken, green beans and corn. My wife is having strawberry shortcake, as well. We didn’t have any of the little dessert cups but we did have a box of yellow cake mix. :)

A little Umami spread, and a bottle of wine we’ve been saving for tonight.

Peruvian grilled chicken, green sauce, and a Peruvian-style potato salad.

And now I'm out of Aji Amarillo paste.

Nice looking pie

Today’s project actually started last night. I made some homemade focaccia that turned out insanely good. Made some meatballs and a really simple red sauce (garlic, canned tomato, dried oregano, and S&P) for a damn tasty sandwich.

That looks awesome. I've never made bread, but the Basically Guide to Baking they've been doing has a simple focaccia recipe that sounds doable.

The focaccia really does look fantastic, and so does your celebratory meal, LL!
