Hors d’oeuvres and champagne on the concierge floor of Market Pavilion Hotel in Charleston South Carolina ( heavy rains at high tide have flooded streets in Charleston and we cannot get to restaurant.)

Cooked a pot of white beans with shrimp and andouille today. Served with some warm buttered French bread.

Veggie burrito with New Mexico red sauce, Spanish rice and beans.

BLTs with Benton's bacon, tomatoes still warm from outside, and Duke's mayo.

The lettuce is plain lettuce. It's a disappointment to the rest of the sandwich.

ETA: Oh yeah, and some lemon icebox pie ice cream for later.

Crawfish pie with a sensation salad on the side.

Grilled chicken quarters, sausage,boudin, pintos and rice.
