I came home to a homemade beef and cheese manicotti dish by Giada De Laurentis.

I popped a chubby watching one of her shows over the holiday weekend and the wife made the dish for me this evening to show her appreciation of being by my side through life.

Finally used up the last of the roast. These taco shells are slices of provolone cheese zapped in the microwave (on parchment paper) for 90 seconds. And they taste great!

Sounds like you have Indepdence Day leftover brisket like I have leftover spare ribs. Tonight I pulled the rest of meat from bones and heated up in leftover sauce. Toasted some sourdough buns in a buttered pan, muenster cheese on bottom, them the ribs, then some choux choux on top. Easy, delicious, not the best choice for my cholesterol.

Thanks, Gris, I'm excited because they were so easy. The cheese shells are good!

Great for a meal or even a quick keto snack. Zap it and fill it and eat it.

112° outside and my wife decided to make soup. She chose soup because we had a ham bone leftover from the 4th, then proceeded to forget to throw the ham bone in there
Potato soup with crust bread and Caesar salad on the side. I can't lie, it was delicious
