Leftovers...Shrimp Diane, jambalaya, roast, gravy, English peas, and butterbeans are the choices.

Beat me.

Making a bigass pot of chili in honor of the cold front. I'll probably have a bowl and 4 chili dogs.

They are what I like to call "semi-homemade". start from a can, but then I jazz them up a bit. It's the best I can do after work, 2 kids, and dance practice (for my kiddo, not me)

Some left and some new....grilled flat iron, speckled butterbeans, corn on the cob, grilled fresh pineapple, West Indies salad.

I must tell you that Kartchner's smoked hocks are the best I've had for using in beans etc... I buy them all over the place, but theirs are by far the best. I made a sort of stock with those for the butterbeans the night before I cooked the beans. Just sauteed some onions in a little bacon grease, added the hocks and water or you can use chicken stock of some sort. I simmered that for an hour or so on low. I wanted to eat that over rice because it was so good. I added the butterbeans the next day and the flavor was outstanding.

For me, I'm still eating on the smoked chicken thighs I cooked on Saturday.
