Shrimp boil for the wife and I. Air inside the house was spicy for a little while but so worth it.

Costco Bulgogi (thinly sliced marinated beef) on the blackstone with french rolls from Balestra's. Dill pickle slices for a topper.

It was great.

I boiled on the stove. I have an old hand me down gumbo/Turkey fryer type pot that’s maybe 10 gal. Poured in a shite load of spice. Then poured in some more just to be safe. Boiled for about 2:30 and shut off then put the lid on for 20 min. They may have been a little overdone but def edible. Satisfied my craving without spending $11.99/lb at a restaurant here

No sides, I don’t care about corn and whatnot. I just wanted an appetizer

Veggie plate with all the shite I got at the farmer's market this weekend - sautéed zucchini and yellow squash, stir fried green beans, and roasted cauliflower, carrots and turnips.

Two threads on here this week inspired me - the ones about leftover potatoes and dark gravy.

Made me crave some rice and gravy.

Intended to shape the leftover mashed potatoes (mixed with cheese) into balls to fry but I ended up with a potato pancake batter instead. Oh well...

Made the rice and gravy with a 1/2 Boston Butt deboned and cut into steaks.
