Homemade chicken shawarma with, rice pilaf, a nice Greek salad, a hummus plate and an assortment of olives. Oh, can't forget the white garlic sauce.

I forgot to put the tomatoes in the salad when I took this picture.

Dumplings and Hot & Sour soup from a little Chinese place down the street.

I'm at work tonight so no vodka waters, but I'm sipping on our Imperial Ipa instead

You should read this or better listen to the audiobook. The beans and cornbread made me think of it. I have a feeling you would like it.

I’m having dried, chipped beef and mushrooms on toast. shite on a shingle.

I like listening to his audiobooks because he has that accent and really does well with the language. And the same here with my maternal grandmother who grew up on the farm. His other books are very well done.

And appropriately my wife made banana pudding which I’m eating as I type so I feel I’m honoring the book or at least he’d be proud.
