Man what a good lunch. The friday special of navy bean soup with shrimp and fried catfish. That's the best lunch I've had in a long time. If y'all are in LaPlace, check out Wayne Jacobs Smokhouse.

Wayne Jacob’s has good andouille and fresh sausage, but I quit going there. They were inconsistent on andouille availability and their prices have gone way up. I go to Jacob’s now. Taste just as good and cost less.
