KSLA

I've never eaten at the one in BR, but I'm guessing this is not an improvement for the Youree Dr. Corridor?

its an improvement over BBW for a sports bar on that stretch

although Rotolos fills that niche nowadays

Walkons is pretty bad I wouldn't step foot in it in Nola but it's a definite improvement over your regular Shreveport options. Someone started a thread a couple of months ago.

I thought I remembered reading something about it, but I didn't find anything when I searched. I may not have gone back far enough.

Is it great? No. Is it is bad as this board makes the place out to be? No

I'm not a chain person by any means but Walk-ons will be a nice addition to Shreveport just for the fact of having another cool place to go watch games. The food is good enough to where if you're just there to watch games and get hungry, you can find something good enough to eat. I would never go to Walk-ons for the sole purpose of eating only because there are much better options for that.

We talking food or service? I can tolerate the food actually, but the service may be the worst I've ever experienced both times I've gone to the Towne Center location.

I'm sure it will do well.

I've never been a fan but a lot of people on here and in general love it. To each its own.

I could see myself maybe going there to drink and watch an LSU game but I'd prefer not to eat their food

They will hurt bww a little, but 60 taps is way, way to many for Shreveport.

Well it is owned by two former LSU athletes so I thought that would be good enough.

I've never been to one, but it is probably a better spot to have than the Macaroni Grill that preceded it. Bring on the beer selection in a non-smoking environment.

this

its definitely an improvement over Macaroni Grill, so I'll take it

a local place probably couldn't afford the rent on that building, so this is probably the best option that we could have hoped to go there

The one in Houma is probably about half way through construction. The contractor said they wanted to have it open for the summer though. Haha. I'm sure they're shooting for the start of football season.
