Went to the original location in BR last sunday and the food wasn't bad. My party ordered 2 blackjack sandwiches, a cheeseburger, and a fried catfish plate. Just know what you are getting into before hand. It's decent bar food and a place to watch a game, that's it.

60 taps

Damn that's a lot of taps. I guess I'm just not adventurous enough. I went to Round Bar (64 taps), and ordered a couple of new beers, but there were only about 10-12 that I really wanted to try. I'm not a hophead, so maybe that's my problem.

55 of those 60 taps will be shite

I really, really want to open a place with aboutt 15 quality rotating taps, I just need someone to give me the money

for Shreveport?

15 taps...

Since we have 3 local breweries, I would keep about 7-8 of them for local stuff

3-4 GR beers (2-3 flagstaffs and 1 rotating seasonal)
2 RR beers
2-3 Flying Heart beers

so that leaves me with 7 more

it could look something like this for those 7

Goose Island Sophie
New Belgium Lips of Faith (rotating)
NOLA seasonal
Tin Roof seasonal
Bayou Teche seasonal
Green Flash Hop Head Red
St Arnold Endeavor (or rotating seasonal or something)

or something to that affect...I really don't know what we can and cannot get in kegs in Shreveport that well

What an overhyped douchebag carnival. I'm sure it'll do great in Sleazeport.

Blade is apparently the grandson or great grandson of Herby K, who's going to try and capitalize on the name even though his family hasn't been involved in the restaurant for over 30 years (lost it in a divorce somehow). Supposed to be high end steaks and seafood. Prepared fresh, no freezers, etc. I don't expect it to last long, but I've been wrong before
