He took pics of his food adjusted on the plate to spell his username. He’s fricked up.

What a meal that was. Being that there are so many options I limited myself only to items I had not yet tried. A food critic must try everything to be fair, and sticking with his favorites does no one a favor. I, of course excluded meat from this rule. I had eight sirloin portions as you can see. I also had four gargantuan servings of prime rib. My last stop at the carving station was greeted with a smile from the lovely employee. She said, “You know I can give you this whole roast if you want?” Such friendliness and service!
The chocolate fountain was out of commission due to a yeast roll accident. Speaking of rolls, they are delicious! If I were making another top 10 list they would be top 5! Why didn’t someone tell me about these? The decommissioned fountain prevented me from writing out a message to my beloved readers in the language of love, liquid chocolate. And apparently writing things in other food languages makes the author a psychopath. So I abstained from a mashed potato signature today.
Other notables include a perfect pot roast, broccoli, fajitas, fudge, fried shrimp, bone-in catfish (last time as someone pointed out I had the fillets), black eyed peas, and banana pudding. Isn’t it something about banana pudding, I can’t stand any of its constituent parts, but together I ate a large bowl! And whoever it was that recommended Aunt B’s fried chicken: you were spot on! Thank you for the tip.
Sams has a great deal with gift cards to GC. For $40 you get $50 in cards. This is a better deal than GCs in-house holiday special of buy $50 and get $10 free. 25% off vs 20% off, but most shoppers don’t recognize this difference.
I cheated and did eat a serving a those award winning butter sauted mushrooms. Much better than what I've seen on the Food Board recently.

Where is Golden Corral in metro New Orleans?
Rugby team ate at one in Texas the night before a match. 5 players got sick and were benched. Haven’t been back since.

Dear Friends,
I am reporting to you from another decidedly satisfying meal at Golden Corral. What better way to start the new calendar year than with a specialty meal there? I wasn't in the mood to cook greens, cabbage, or blackeyed peas, and GC's endless panoply of food has those offerings and more.
Insider tip #1: eat GC at 3:50. This is not a lame OT joke. Really -- eat at three fifty. Why? From 11-4 you get lunch prices. At 4 prices rollover, increasing over 50%, from $8.19 to $13.19. The only difference, other than price, between lunch and dinner is the sirloin steakhouse opens at 4.
For those in the know, though, once you're in, you're in. You don't need a special dinner ticket to eat the dinner steaks. Management knows this and they do nothing to discourage it. I even asked the manager if it was okay and he said it was. The dinner timing at lunch prices is the backdoor Roth IRA of the eating world. You'd be a fool not to take advantage of it.
As I had ten minutes to myself before the steaks were apportioned, I decided to start with the staples of New Year's. Delicious, thank you. That roast was splendid. The okra was fresh out and crispy. Possibly the best okra I've ever had. The cabbage was a bit dry; the blackeyed peas solid. The greens average. The limba beans were superb.
As 4:00 arrived, a line formed at the pit. Giddy beef eaters took the form of happy Depression breadliners, politely telling the master chef how they wanted their steaks. I always tell him, "First available," as I don't want to slow him or irritate him. I think when picky diners turn down multiple cuts in search of a mythical best steak, it is a bit rude to those in the line and the master chef. Rare to well done, the steaks at GC are solid through and through.
I went for a new personal best and achieved it. I ate a full ten portions of steak. According to my portable scale, 93 oz of American beef was consumed. I did trim 21 oz of fat and a few more ounces were probably left behind in the form of fluids.
Filled with steak, I decided I would get some of their world class bread pudding. I feel like I got a little gluttonous here and now feel a bit full. Well, my diet starts tomorrow!
It's, according to the calendar a new year. My new year started on the first Sunday of Advent, but since most of you celebrate today as the beginning of your year, I have a new year's message for you:
See you soon!
Affectionately,
TulaneLSU

I want to say the oddest thing is you carry a scale to eat but I don't think that touches it.

All of these posts will make for great source material for the future Netflix documentary once this guy inevitably goes on an serial killing spree someday.
