I've been to a lot of bars people would call trashy plenty of times. I can say that Metairie does have a large concentration of trashy bars. Some of the worst I've ever been in are in Metairie. I live within a mile of probably 8 bars, and I don't go to them because they are depressing as frick.
You wanna be scared and feel trashy? Hit up an Airline Hwy bar in Metairie between 12am and 12pm.

I have been to "trashy" bars all over the state, and those stand out as the worst to me

JL's bar in Gheens, LA. Haven't gotten drunk there since I was 16. And no this wasn't in the 1970's it was like 10 yrs ago lol.
