re: Trashiest bar you've ever been to?

Dragon's Den on TN-72, it's listed as Maryville, but that shite is out there towards the Dragon. That shite was fricked up.

The green door. It was attached to a gas station in Grenada, MS. Served only beer in the can.

Walked into a few in Grand Isle that were shitholes.

15 years ago one of my redneck cousins from Mississippi was getting married and his boys wanted to take him to a tittie bar. We loaded up in lad old van and dove through country roads to some place outside of Jackson. They couldn't sale alcohol but you could bring your own in. Thought I was in another world.

Honorable mention was a bar in Bridge City. I think it was hanks place and they said they were a working mans bar. LOL
We went after work one day for some damn reason and the shipyard guys who had just gotten off were in there. They were trashy but the 60 year old grandma bartender wearing lingerie stole the show.

Not sure if Metairie has the trashiest bar, considering some of the pictures posted in this thread, but is there anywhere else in America that has so many trashy bars in a 5 mile radius? The sheer number of trashy Metairie bars (some hidden along neighborhood streets) is pretty impressive. All with video poker, lol.

"The Den" in Venice. Weekly knife fights. Blood stained pool tables were a nice touch.

There was a bar in Mamou called The Bamboo Lounge. Almost as trashy as The Holiday. Almost.....but not quite.

Then there was the Golden Spur, at the Y north of Mamou.

The Evangeline Club in Ville Platte. Almost as bad as the Kit Kat, but the Kit Kat was pretty special.

And then there was Yo's Bar in Chataignier. A throwback to Jim Crow.

Wilson's Bar on Hwy 13 south of Eunice, heading towards Crowley.

I would say the upper crust of trashy mostly went to the Purple Peacock in Eunice.

Finally, the Pony Room on US 190 west of Eunice. Awesomely trashy.

Well, any place that allows Black Oak Arkansas to play there has to be trashy. I can't believe I actually went to see them. Felt scummy just walking out of the place afterwards.
