Jarreau said he's optimistic a deal can be worked out for the Highland restaurant, which is still operating. Jarreau and Ryan Jumonville, a Baton Rouge native who lives in Destin, Florida, paid $7.4 million for the restaurant properties and agreed to lease them back to Nagem.

"we're pulling for Sammy," Jarreau said.

On What could replace Creole Cabana

"Although we are disappointed with this, we are currently in talks with a number of other concepts that are interested in coming to replace it. We hope to make an announcement in the next couple of weeks and are excited about the opportunities that will make 2020 even better experience"

Jason Jackson would like to invite you all to the Francis Southern Table in St. Francisville. Judges are also welcome.

I don’t think I’ve been back to Highland since the Judge got the boot.

The Creole Cabana spot has so much potential.

The Oasis volleyball kills it over there.

The place is just way too fricking big. Probably would have been fine with just the bar area and volleyball

Are Creole Cabana and The Oasis one entity or are they separate? I was talking to a friend of mine today and we couldn't figure that out.

They are separate. The owner of the Oasis leased the restaurant to Sammy.

Rumor is they volleyball courts are BYOB until they get someone to take over the restaurant.

What are the chances Jason Jackson opens a Francis location in the Sammy’s Highland spot?

Would be unbelievable, but very possible IMO

I’d as soon do business with Tommy Spinosa as I would do business with Donnie Jarreau.
