Damn. That was not a very old building. I wonder what they will be putting there.

the Advocate article said the other restaurant is a chain and it already has a presence in BR. Not sure what it is.

National chains are about the only type of business that can afford a storefront on Siegen. I don’t expect anything unique to open up in that area for a long time.

It was complete garbage. Maybe it had it's glory years but I think it just survived off of name recognition for a long time.

It is by far the worst bbq in town.

The wings are/were very good. Its been a few years since I've had them, so not sure if they're still as good as they used to be.

I like their ribs. Sure, they aren't Memphis-style and can't compete nationally, but I like them, especially when they are charred on the grill before serving.

TJ's is one of this board's favorite restaurants to shite on, and I get it. But I think they do a very good job with steaks and pork chops (cooked the same way that Ruth's Chris cooks them), and their beef rib is pretty good as well.

Their wings (whole) are some of the best in town (sauce on the side).

If you know what to order there, it's good. There's a reason why they have been in business for so many years at the Acadian store.

I agree. It's solidly above the chain places. We go there once or twice a year, and it's familiar and fairly consistent.

The Allstar Burger is good and that's about all I care for there. Pretty hard to mess up a burger. Menu never changed since I've lived her for 13 years but neither have the taste buds of the clientele.

I would not be shocked if the 2nd restaurant was another Cava.

That distinction belongs to Jay’s.

I think TJs does some things well like wings and steaks.
