Awful Service, Awful Manager

Worst experience eating out in the last 5 years.

We ordered burgers - should not be too hard to make a burger right?

Waitress was terrible.

Manager was watching TV at the bar, not paying any attention to the running of the restaurant.

I never understood how anybody thought any tj ribs ever was good. It's generic at best and they suck at quality control.

This is why I only order the smoked wings off the app menu when we go....

My wife loves that place.

That's how you make soup. I just looked the place up on Yelp. Someone took a picture of the rib bones... they're about 2.5 inches long

You should have left out the "in Prairieville" part. That place has always been hot roasted garbage... all locations.

I don't get the hate.

TJ's won't win any championship BBQ, but they do a few things quite well.

Steaks and Pork Chops are cooked the same exact way as Ruth Chris.

Beef Ribs are good.

Smoked Wings with sauce on the side are some of the best wings in town.

And the ribs, while I like a little resistance to them, are good for what they are. I like the char that the grill gives them.

I hope they succeed at all locations. A local employer hiring local people. That's not a bad thing.

Wonder if it was an honest mistake like the server thought they sent the food back to the kitchen and didn't.

The manager didn't apologize, take care of your entire meal & package it for you to go with extras?

It's a brand new restaurant running with a short staff, just like everyone else. Show some compassion to those in the service industry. They can't find staff, the ones they do have are exhausted from working all day everyday.

You created an account just to post a lame excuse for a shitty restaurant? Weird.

They make them by seasoning then basically roasting in a covered pan. All the juices just kind of boil/steam. They wrap then chill them until needed. Then warm over a fire.

Method actually works prettt good for tailgating.

I went to the one in BTR last night and placed a order to go while I enjoyed a few beers. While sitting there, I noticed how many of their customers were ordering fruity colorful drinks and not tipping. It looked like Fanta with alcohol. Bartenders seemed miserable...I wonder why??

Not like there is a ton of great bbq in the city to compare it against. There certainly wasn't 20 plus years ago when they were much more popular. No idea how they're in business to be honest.
