I don't understand it.

The bank employes Riverside Towing, and I don't get that either. You're not even fricking open at night. Who cares if someone parks there?

Great location but I hate it when businesses open and don't consider parking accommodations

I thought there were regulations against this.
Sammy's in Central had a delayed opening when it was built because they had to have a certain amount of spots per chair in the restaurant.

It was awful. Doesn't help that the shitty bank next door, which isn't even open, blocks off their parking lots with chains and has a cop sitting in the parking lot.

Weird.

I have the exact review. Calypso and scallop are the two I get when I go because they're better than all others.

Duck was the one I was most excited to try, and it was boring as hell.

I can't think of a time I was blown away by mexican/Caribbean/latin food.

Maybe I haven't been to the right place, or maybe I don't drink enough margaritas.

I've never been blown away either, but I've definiely had good stuff.

La Reyna's puerco guisado is awesome.

Mestizo's pulled pork thing with that tomatillo sauce that's good enough to drink

NOLA, has a huge deficit in this area that I hope is currently being addressed.

Though if Maya's ever opens up again, I would put that on your list. Also, check with Wise on some sleeper Messican in Kenner.

I was blown away at the Red Iguana in Salt Lake City, UT.

Their mole was just incredible.

Will do. My wife loves the style. It is pretty far down my list, I do love fresh-mex type stuff though.

I THINK they're blaming bottles being left in their lot for no longer letting it be used.

Hell Mccallister's is dumb about it too, they have that massive lot and the manager is going to bitch about using a back spot when he has over 100 free ones there. No one is ever in that damn place, expecting a sudden rush?

It's so stupid. Like being a dick about parking is going to make Rum House lose enough business to affect your business

While it has a bar-like atmosphere and plenty of people drink there, I find it hard to believe there are tons of people bringing bottles out of the place and trashing parking lots with them.

So what, do you eat there daily? This seriously describes you every time I've seen you. Especially wedges.

Likely an excuse and just want to be paid for the use.

I understand the bank's position. I wouldn't want to pick up beer bottles, go cups with napkins or cigarette butts in my parking lot or on the sidewalks around my bldg before I start work in the morning.. Especially if I'm working at a bank and wearing a coat and tie.

If that were the case, I agree. I just find it hard to believe people are smuggling all kinds of stuff like that out of the place.

It's not like it's open until 2am, ya know? It closes at the same time as a normal restaurant. It's loud and people drink, sure, but I doubt it's a drunken mess at 10pm-11pm (depending on the day).

When we went there I got the Trinidad Chicken Roti and it was very good. Also you need to try their macaroni and cheese it's the best I've had in a long time.

We went for lunch and there wasn't a wait but I would never wait the insane wait times there is on a Friday or Saturday night.

I enjoyed the tacos I got, not sure of the names. But, I'll agree with everyone about the temperature of them. It seems fairly obvious that they prepare your meal like subway with a ton of large quantity cold ingredients, except they don't ask if you want it toasted (or heated)
Disappointing as the flavors were good.
