Except for you Martini, you are the exception to the stereotype of a generalization.

What does that mean? Did I do wrong?

You are clearly the owner, and this is a free site that relies on advertising. If you post things like your hours, etc. they will sniff you out and ban you.

This is not an advertisement & I am not the owner. I just stopped by & asked them.
The Pub will be open on Monday the 22nd @ 11am. The place looks pretty good inside & They built a patio in the front. They said 1 pool table & darts. 32 beers on tap & about the same in bottles.

No, this is in the same complex on Sherwood as Hunan and Kamado's.

My burning question is, will they be able to sell enough food to be open on Sundays here in Backwards Rouge? (ala Chimes East)

If there is no smoking inside, and they get a Golden Tee machine, I'm all over that place...Not to brag, but there's not too many people in BR that can hang with me at darts. Darts & GT are just a couple of my useless skills. I wish I had some real skills.

i passed by yesterday and it looks like they have actually built a deck/patio in front of the building in the parking lot, skillz .. hopefully, that is for smoking patrons .. i am anxious for the place to open up as well ... we need a pub like this on this side of town ... sure, i enjoy going to happy's on coursey .. but then the drunk 19 year old college kids start spilling in on thursday, friday, and saturday night and the place changes to me ..

i had asked george awhile back if he was selling and he told me he wasn't .. he is suing BP for $500,000 -- which is, i am sure you would agree, a bit on the excessive side .. he is putting his eggs in that basket .. and i think the guy really thinks he is going to get this ... but i have seen it on here and heard it on the street from a few of his regulars that he has been entertaining offers ..

i really don't think there is anything going on with the old end zone and broken egg spots .. broken egg was paying close to $9K a month for their space and the end zone was paying $5K for theirs (although i don't think the end zone paid $5K even once in their last year in business) ... the problem with those locations, in addition to the high arse rent, is the fact that city cafe just sucks the life out of the place ... there is just no way three restaurants are going to make it together in there .. for starters .. there just isn't enough parking .. second, one place is just going to dominate the other two, IMO ..

I officially accept the challenge sir, as long as only steel tip pub missiles are involved.

Degas, you may be one of the few that could hang with me, maybe...You better be able to hit ton 80's on a regular basis, and be able to stay away from the bed & breakfasts.

Do I sense a food board tourney ?

Bring it

The deck does look nice, shame it faces out to Sherwood though.

People still live off Coursey / Sherwood aka North Baton Rouge circa 1985.

Let me guess, you went to Belaire or Tara brah.

sherwood north of the interstate ain't good, but i think, and i could be wrong that the other side is still ok...almost nowhere in baton rouge is ideal these days.
