Now that it’s been around for a few years, what say y’all? Using it regularly or relegated to the garage? If you’re still using, what are some favorites.

I use mine all the time.

Some favorites:

Beef & broccoli
Mashed potatoes
Honey garlic chicken thighs
Collard greens
Mushroom risotto

Beans are awesome in the IP because you don't have to soak them first.

Used to use it more. I use it for baby back ribs in a pinch now. Takes 1.5 hours start to finish for fall off the bone ribs. Usually broil them briefly to get a good crust. Also have a good mac n cheese recipe we do during football season

I use my Insta pot very regularly. I make things like meatloaf stew chicken, barbeque legs, soups & even red beans and rice in less than an hour. I’ve become extremely confident in using it and almost ready to do some experimentation. I even picked up a secondary one to keep at camp.

I rarely use mine. When I do, it's to fast cook dried beans of some sort.

I bought mine from a friend that got it as a wedding gift.

Don’t use it very much because it gives the meat a weird texture. Too soft for my taste.

Still use it plenty, mostly for roasts, but my wife uses it for eggs.

I use my foodie to heat up leftovers, and small frozen things for the kids. Really just taking up space. I don’t know why I get sucked into these gadgets, I made a MS pot roast tonight in the cast iron and it came out so much better than using the pressure or slow cooker.

Agreed it gives everything a weird texture

I use mine often for chuck roasts and speedy chicken dishes. It’s great for sweet potatoes too. Now the air fryer is a different story. I set it by the curb last weekend. I was warned I wouldn’t use it and didn’t listen

Same. I thought the air fryer was going to be another gimmick that would collect dust like my IP does, but that's not the case at all.

Last night I air fried breaded chicken cutlets for crispy chicken sandwiches in 10 minutes with no preheat. I keep it on the counter, so there's no lugging it out from storage and the baskets on mine are nonstick and easy to clean.

We have the ninja foodi pressure cooker + air fryer combo and we love it. We use it at least once a week for some type of pressure-cooked shredded chicken usually. Quick pot roasts and red beans are fantastic too.

Since wings are so dang expensive now, I've been buying some good-quality chicken nuggets from Costco. I'll air fry them for 12 minutes to get them real crunchy and then toss them in buffalo sauce.

eggs

If you do nothing else but hard boiled eggs it’s worth having an instant pot. Being able to peel them one handed and not losing half the egg white because it’s stuck to the shell is worth it. I keep mine in the garage and set on the deep freezer when I use it so not junking up counter

Never use it tbh. It's been relegated to the cabinet above the stove, you know shite up there rarely comes out

Air fryer is the only fad device that I can say I use with any regularity. Thing kicks arse, especially for reheating stuff

I use both the air fryer and instapot pretty often. Glad to have both in the arsenal. Really suprised at how much I like the air fryer. Thought is was kinda dumb when the wife bought it but it kicks arse.
