Should I give it a try? What makes it better the all of the other seafood restaurants we have in the Northshore?

ETA. I have no idea about this place and that's why asked. I don't get why people down vote a question about a restaurant asked on the Food and Drink board. Seemed like the perfect place to inquire. I would have been better off asking the OT.

It’s where a lot of people in Covington go for seafood if they don’t want to cross I-12. There aren’t a ton of options otherwise

From what I gather from the responses its a place that caters to black people. If that is true why open up in Covington?

I looked at the menu, it's not exactly cheap.

It’s not even open yet

OP, fiery crab is a local chain serving imported seafood slathered in industrial lubricants. You’d be better off eating at a gas station. And yes, in most locations the clientele is overwhelmingly black

If you want seafood in Covington go to busters

After their Section 8 Voucher and SNAP benefits, it's time to splurge with that SSI check.

I prefer New Orleans Food and Spirits over Buster's

Agree. All of their locations are great however Fiery Crab and NOF&S are two completely different kinds of restaurants. I don't think NOF&S does boiled seafood like Fiery Crab.
