They just posted to their FB page. What is it about that spot that kills businesses?

The last time I went there with friends to watch a football game I was asked to go fight in the parking lot by a lady with a mullet. It’s a great final memory.

If a local guy with the reputation like they have cant make it there I don't know what can thrive at that location.

That’s odd because it’s a well known Baton Rouge establishment, not some new concept that no one has heard of. The one on Siegen and the original location seem to be doing great.

She was at the bar with what I assume were her husband and son.

Tried it twice, the service was not good and the food wasn't as good as the other locations.

that location does seem to be cursed. Cursed with bad food and service.

I literally went eat there for lunch on Christmas Eve while I was running some errands. I even remarked to my parents when I got home that $13.99 for a 6 oz filet with a salad and green beans was a great value for a quick lunch since they live about a mile from there.

Quality was not as good as the other locations.
I was kind of shocked they opened one so close to the Siegen one to begin with.

That location has been terrible for everything that has tried to go there - not sure why, it's a high traffic area.

I knew Prarieville was going downhill when the strip clubs and Asian spas started closing. That, and a couple pawn shops would have thrived.

I went couple times and never had the experience you do at the BR location. Beers where often slightly above room temperature and the service was not good. Also, that location has terrible parking at times.

This. If the restaurant in that location is decent, there is no place to park.

When I first heard they were opening there, my first thought was it was too close to the Siegan location. It is strange that only a select few places have survived in that general area with every other place having a constant revolving door of places.

Thank y’all for the support over the last 2 years in Praireville. We opened the restaurant to help support the closing and remodel of the Acadian location. We had unbelievable business when we first opened, but unfortunately had a difficult time with operations, and never recovered from our opening struggles.

We like the location and the facility, but I failed to make it a success for our company, guests and employees. I feel we were trying to offer too much with a 5400 square foot restaurant. When we fail to provide a proper experience for our guest, it’s time shore up operations at our other locations. That is why we made the decision to close.

I am an avid reader of TD, and a fan of what Chicken has built over the years. It is a great forum for the people of Louisiana to express their opinions. Thank y’all for the support over the last 32 years of TJ Ribs, Burke Moran

I feel like y'all would have done way better closer to Tanger. There are a couple BBQ places in Prarieville you had to compete with, but there is NO ONE serving BBQ out by Tanger except for Bergeron's and they close at 6:00pm.
